15 years ago today we started this Rebus site. As far as we know it was the first online rebus generator, now there are many πŸ˜€. To celebrate our 15th anniversary, we have two exciting pieces of news:

  • Better results for long words: We dig even deeper to find the perfect images, and it's still super fast!
  • No more annoying ads! Maybe it will come back later, but rebus.club is ad-free for the time being πŸŽ‰!!!

Today we have a special update: use the position of the characters in relation to each other. Sounds complicated, but is relatively easy. Take a look at the following example where characters are on top of each other, or inside each other:

C / C
 +
πŸ‘‚
-a
 +
N / G

The word here is "C on C er N in G", concerning. Another nice example is Constantinople.

Does this work with all character combinations, you might ask? No, training was done on the complete works of Shakespeare, so if he didn't write a word containing "XonY" we won't write it as a "X on Y rebus" either.
